Filos was created by a group of students fromthe MiLab (Media Innovation Lab), a joint project betweenInteractive Communication and Computer Science students of theInterdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya .Through the combined efforts of Computer Science expertise mixedwith the Communication students marketing and UI skills, a uniquehybrid of application innovation was formed. Mr. Note is a collaborative note that enablesthe users to manage their everyday missions, without the constantnagging that's usually involved. In a simple click the user canopen a note that's available to edit for each participant. The appcan be useful for shopping lists, household assignments, dividingmissions for special occasions and basically- anything thatrequires purposeful organization.Since the main goal is to save you time and money, every notehas a closing time. After the note closes there will be no optionre-edit the note. Clashers is a synchronized,location-basedmusic app, which enables users to discoverwhat people around them are listening to, simultaneously withthem.By using thephysical world to find digital media, “Clashers” allows userstoenrich their world whileengaging with it.How does it work? The app displays profile pictures of alluserswithin 30 meters range.A press on a profile picture opens a YouTube video, which playsthesame song thechosen user is listening to. The video starts playing at theexactsame second the chosenuser was when the “clash” occurred, enabling a sharedexperience.Finally, the appsaves the details of the “clash” for future enjoyment.Clashers does not consume a lot of battery like other locationbasedapps. It samplesthe GPS component only when the user opens the app, or whentheusers listen tomusic on their phone. CatchApp is a mobile app designed for students who do not studyintheir native language. The purpose of the app is to helpthesestudents maintain a high level of learning and understandingwhilenot harming the proper course of the lesson. The app listensto thelecture in real time and knows how to identify theprofessionalterms the teacher says. It translates these terms intothestudent's native language and sends it back to him.
